Shannon Kioko is a Software Engineer and Bitcoin Educator building for African realities, where communities leapfrog broken financial systems daily and Bitcoin isn’t theoretical, it’s survival. She develops Lightning-native applications and founded BitSawa, making Bitcoin genuinely accessible to everyday Kenyans.

An alumna of Bitcoin Dada Cohort 9 and Dada Devs Cohort 3, she now serves as Peer Lead actively investing in the bold builders who come next.

Off-chain, she bakes cakes, reads about money, does her makeup, games hard on indie titles, and recharges best somewhere gloriously green -> trees, grass and actual fresh air.
