Bio

Lilian Nwamaife is a Product Designer and Bitcoin enthusiast based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a strong focus on user-centered design and the transformative potential of Bitcoin technology. She brings a multidisciplinary background, having transitioned from Biochemistry into Product Design, where she leverages analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to craft intuitive digital experiences.

She currently works as a Product Designer at Mavapay, a Bitcoin-powered payment infrastructure platform supporting Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Her design expertise spans across UX research, interaction design, illustration designs, information architecture, prototyping, and responsive web and mobile design (Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, and Miro), with proficiency in HTML and CSS for enhanced design implementation and collaboration with development teams.

Lilian has completed specialized training through the Bitcoin Dada Program, the Dev & Design Program ,building expertise across Bitcoin applications, open-source design practices, and decentralized systems. Her work focuses on translating Bitcoin’s technical constraints into clear, secure, and usable product interfaces.

She has designed and shipped production products within the ecosystem, including the Dada Devs website and the SatsFlow interface, contributing to user flows, interaction design, and system-level UX decisions aligned with self-custody, security, and trust minimization. Her work sits at the intersection of design and engineering, where usability reinforces protocol realities rather than aesthetics alone.
