Bio

Lucy Wambui Kamau is a Bitcoin Developer and Data Analyst based in Nairobi, Kenya, and founder of Ishlu Analytics.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Mombasa and has completed advanced Bitcoin development programs including Bitcoin Dada Cohort 7, Dada Devs Cohort 1, and the Btrust Builders LBCLI Capstone. Her technical expertise spans Bitcoin Core development (bitcoin-cli, PSBT workflows, multisig transactions), data analysis with Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), SQL, and business intelligence tools.

Through Ishlu Analytics, Lucy delivers data-as-a-service solutions to e-commerce businesses while actively contributing to Bitcoin development through open source projects and regtest network tooling. She specializes in making complex data insights accessible to non-technical users and is currently exploring Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK) for enhanced wallet development.

Lucy combines her statistical background with hands-on Bitcoin development skills to advocate for economic empowerment through data and Bitcoin literacy, while mentoring new developers in both fields and seeking opportunities for full-time roles or collaborations in Bitcoin development and data analytics.
