Mercy Mbao is a Frontend Developer and Bitcoin Enthusiast based in Nairobi Kenya with a Bsc in Library and Information science and over 2 years experience in IT support and web development. Her technical skills include HTML, CSS, Javascript, Tailwind, React, Nextjs, Nodejs, Express, python, sql and mongoDB. She has completed Web Development certification by PLP(project power learn), Dada Devs training program cohort 1, B-Trust Builders Pathway 1 mastering bitcoin and language clubs(python).

Her growing interest in blockchain integration has led her to contribute to open source projects such as TSK and nexaverse platform, with a keen focus on expanding her skills towards contributing to functional, unit and integration tests in Bitcoin Core.

Mercy is passionate about leveraging technology to advance bitcoin education and accessibility.

She is a peer lead within Dada Devs, coordinating technical study groups that work through Bitcoin and Lightning implementations, SDK usage, and system design decisions under real-world constraints.
